In order to create a bot for viber, you need to create a token, which will be tied to a webhook for the exchange of messages between the bot and the user.
A token is a key that consists of a set of characters and is used to communicate between the webhook and the viber messenger server.
In order to get a token and create a chatbot, you need to go to the link https://partners.viber.com/ and log in with the phone number on which the bot token will be created. This is a cabinet for creating new bot tokens.
!!! Important. Cabinet for viber partners, only allows you to create new tokens, editing is possible only through bot settings in the viber version for smartphones.
In the partner cabinet, click the "Create Bot Account" button. After that, you will be asked to enter the following data:
After the data is entered and validated (the bot uri and other data are entered correctly), viber will display a message that will contain the API token of the created bot.
At this moment, the bot has already been created, and it is possible to subscribe to it by following the link. But, in order to create bot logic, i.e. actions that will take place in the bot when interacting with the user, it is necessary:
